Cartoonest Johnny Hart Dead at 76

Creator of B.C. and co-creator of The Wizard of Id, Johnny Hart died Saturday at his isle of a stroke. Harts signature strip, B.C. began appearing in papers in the late 1950's, in the early 1970's the author/artist came into a renewed intensity of his childhood Christian faith, which carried over into the content of the strip, providing for many anachronistic instances over the ensuing three and a half decades. I'm primarily posting this obit, because the Christian message of B.C. always struck me as a little strange, not unlike the Flintsone's Christmas special, or the following. Though considering some of the traditionally anachronistic features of Book of Mormon theology, maybe I shouldn't be talking.
